In-Character | Movement Training for Motion Capture

11:00 am - 2:00 pm

After a successful launch of the Embodying Your Mocap series in May last year and following up with a SOLD OUT workshop in September, Asha Jennings-Grant brings her third and final instalment, In-Character. This workshop will be focusing on the process of building particular character types for video games and film. She will be exploring ways to help the actor make physical choices that are clear, direct and easily accessible when preparing their character-based work in Motion Capture. Like the previous workshops in the series, there will be constant direct references to technical procedures that will inform the work and help shape a solid understanding of the overall working process. The workshop will provide participants with the tools to support and strength their performance skills specific to fields using MoCap technology. This will be an insightful and enjoyable learning opportunity not to be missed!

The workshop is suitable for actors with Motion Capture experience, aspiring Mocappers, actors with movement experience and physical performers.
